Imported high-speed motor manufacturer: matters to note when applying high-speed motors in CNC machine tools
1. The high-speed motor (spindle) and the frequency converter must match each other. The specifications and basic parameters of the inverter should correspond to the standard parameters of the spindle motor. If they are set incorrectly, the spindle motor may be burned out.
2. Before using a water-cooled spindle motor, make sure the cooling circulation system works properly. Operating without cooling is strictly forbidden. The cooling water flow is calculated at about 1 liter per minute; the minimum flow must not be lower than 5 liters per minute, and the cooling pipes and nozzles must be connected reliably without leakage.
3. The coolant must be clean and free of grease, and its temperature should be kept between 5 and 30 degrees Celsius. When the temperature exceeds 30 degrees, the cooling medium must be forcibly cooled. Precision machine tools require coolant at a stable temperature of 20 +/- 2 degrees Celsius.
4. During transport, the state of the high-speed grease in the bearings of the spindle motor changes. The user should first run the spindle motor at low speed for 30 minutes, then run it at every 3,000 rpm for 20 minutes at low speed. Otherwise abnormal noise, vibration and overheating may occur; if the spindle motor is run directly at high speed, the bearing service life will be affected. During long storage periods, the spindle motor should be run at least once a week at low speed for 15-30 minutes.
5. When mounting the tool holder on the spindle motor, the collet, nut and inner taper bore must be cleaned to avoid affecting precision. The tool shank should be inserted into the collet by more than 15 mm.
6. In daily machining, the spindle motor should be warmed up and run for 15-20 minutes after reaching the machining speed before precision machining starts. Stop the spindle motor for two hours every day to restore its mechanical fatigue and extend its service life.
7. Never knock the end cover of the spindle motor. When mounting or removing tools, do not hammer the collet or the tool. During transport, storage and use - especially at the nose end of the spindle motor - avoid any impact or collision.
Imported high-speed motor manufacturer: six maintenance methods for high-speed motors
1. For a high-speed motor in use, use a hook to clear the drain hole below the front end cover, so that dirt does not block the drain pipe.
2. The air entering the high-speed motor must be dry and clean.
3. Remove the high-speed motor from the machine tool and use an air pipe to blow out the residual water in the motor cooling cavity.
4. A high-speed motor that has been idle for a long time should use a skeleton seal. When running, besides cleaning the surface rust preventive with gasoline, the following work must be done:
A. Run idle for 3-5 minutes. Turn the shaft by hand and make sure it does not feel sluggish.
B. Generally use an insulation resistance tester to check that the insulation to ground is at least 10 megohms.
C. After connecting power, run at no less than 1/3 rated speed for 1 hour. If there is no abnormal condition, run at 1/2 rated speed for another hour.
D. In high-speed cutting, use precision steel balls to maintain the spindle milling precision.
5. CNC machine tool high-speed motors can be lubricated with lubricating oil and idle running according to different speeds.
6. The flow of the coolant circulation system can remove the heat generated by high-speed motor rotation.
