Imported motorized spindle manufacturer: how to maintain a cutting motorized spindle
Regardless of the quality of the cutting motorized spindle purchased, common faults will inevitably appear after a period of use, and every spindle has a certain service life. The performance and maintenance of the cutting spindle are key factors determining the working efficiency of the CNC machine tool. Therefore, on the basis of choosing a high-quality spindle, regular maintenance must be carried out to improve efficiency and extend the service life of the cutting spindle. Here is how to maintain a cutting motorized spindle properly.
The motorized spindle is a vital component of the CNC machine tool. With the rapid development of technology and industrialized production, the motorized spindle has also improved greatly in industrial manufacturing and raised the working efficiency of CNC machine tools. Daily maintenance is very important during the use of cutting motorized spindles.
After each working day, the operator should use a vacuum cleaner to remove chips from the rotor end of the spindle motor and from the motor terminal box, preventing chips from accumulating there and entering the bearings, which would accelerate bearing wear, or entering the terminal block and causing a motor short circuit. Every time a tool is changed, the operator must loosen the collet nut instead of pulling the tool out directly, and should form the habit of cleaning the spindle nose and collet holder after tool removal. After every restart, check that the cooling water is circulating properly, that the water pump is working, that the cooling water is not contaminated by dirt or microorganisms, and that the pipes are not blocked, so that the cooling water circulates normally. Never start the spindle without cooling water flowing! The spindle can only work properly under normal cooling conditions. If the pipes have sharp bends that obstruct the flow, or dirt blocks the pipes, the spindle may fail to work normally and affect the machining result.
Imported motorized spindle manufacturer: what features does a CNC lathe motorized spindle have?
At present, machine tools used for metal cutting, such as CNC lathes, drive the mechanical spindle and the chuck or fixture mounted on it through belt drives or gear transmissions from the main motor. So what features does a CNC lathe motorized spindle have?
1. Heat resistance. If the spindle's heat resistance is insufficient, it will deform under high temperature.
2. High rotation precision. A CNC lathe motorized spindle must have very high precision, otherwise machining speed is affected and the company's operating costs rise. To achieve relatively high rotation precision at high speed, in addition to fine and super-fine machining of key parts, bearings of suitable size and precision grade must be adopted with a scientific installation plan.
3. High rigidity. Extremely high rigidity prevents the spindle from being damaged. In addition, vibration resistance is also very important; otherwise tool chipping or breakage may occur during operation, and in severe cases the spindle itself may be damaged.
